This rental IEM rig is a compact “all‑in‑one” monitor solution built around an Allen & Heath CQ‑20B digital mixer, delivering up to five individual in‑ear mixes with app control for every musician.

What’s in the rack

• Allen & Heath CQ‑20B 20‑channel digital mixer with 6 XLR monitor outputs plus main L/R, 96 kHz processing and built‑in dual‑band Wi‑Fi.
• 1x Sennheiser SR IEM G4 stereo wireless IEM system.
• 2x Shure PSM300 (P3T) wireless IEM systems for stereo or mono mixes.
• 1x wired Behringer in‑ear headphone amp fed from the CQ‑20B main outputs.
• 2x 8‑channel mic splitters, 16‑channel stage snake, and touring‑grade rack/road cases for fast, tidy setup.

Available monitor mixes

• 2x stereo wireless mixes from Aux 1/2 and Aux 3/4 (ideal for lead vocal and guitarist or MD)
• 2x mono wireless mixes from Aux 5 and Aux 6 (e.g. bass and keys/BV).
• 1x stereo wired mix from the main L/R bus for the drummer or MD.
• This gives a typical five‑piece band its own customised in‑ear mix with plenty of headroom and processing on every output.

App control for musicians and engineer

• Each performer runs the free CQ4You app on iOS or Android to control only their own monitor mix: levels, pan, “more me” groups and overall volume.
• The engineer (or bandleader) runs CQ MixPad on tablet or laptop for full control of all channels, EQ, dynamics and FX from anywhere in the room.
• Built‑in Wi‑Fi on the CQ‑20B means the rack can sit on stage with no extra router required for simple setups.
